1、 Copper silver plating: the "optimal solution" for a conductive filler

The core of conductive silicone rubber lies in the conductive filler - metal particles that come into contact with each other in the silicone rubber matrix, forming a conductive path. The type of filler directly determines the conductivity, reliability, and cost of the material.

Pure silver filler has the best performance, with a volume resistivity of 0.002-0.004 Ω· cm, but silver is expensive. Pure copper filler is cheap, but copper is prone to oxidation in humid and hot environments. Copper oxide is an insulator, and its conductivity will seriously deteriorate after long-term use.

Copper silver plated particles precisely solve this contradiction. It is a composite particle coated with a layer of silver on the surface of copper powder. Copper serves as the core, providing a highly conductive skeleton; Silver, as the shell, not only further reduces the contact resistance, but also acts as a "corrosion-resistant layer" for copper - the chemical inertness of silver effectively prevents copper oxidation. 2、 Performance data: not just 'good', but 'able to withstand EMP'

Choose silver plated aluminum scenario: It needs to be matched with aluminum chassis and is sensitive to galvanic corrosion - aluminum silver plating is better in aluminum flange scenarios.

Scenarios for choosing nickel plated graphite: limited budget, moderate shielding effectiveness requirements (60-80dB), low environmental corrosiveness - typical scenarios include commercial communication equipment and industrial chassis.

The scenario of choosing pure silver: there are extreme requirements for conductivity and sufficient budget - but the vast majority of projects do not need to go to this step.
