Room temperature conductive silver adhesiveThe storage temperature directly affects its chemical stability and physical properties. Excessive temperature can accelerate the oxidation or agglomeration of silver particles, leading to a decrease in conductivity; However, excessively low temperature may cause hardening or phase separation of the matrix resin, affecting its adhesion and flowability. The ideal storage temperature is usually between 15-25 ° C to maintain the dispersion of silver particles and the uniformity of the matrix material.
Advanced Institute of TechnologyThe conductive silver paste is extremely sensitive to humidity. Excessive humidity can cause surface oxidation of silver particles, forming a non-conductive silver oxide layer and significantly reducing conductivity; Meanwhile, moisture may seep into the resin matrix, causing hydrolysis reactions or abnormal curing. A dry environment is crucial for storage, and if necessary, moisture-proof packaging or the addition of desiccants should be used.
Ultraviolet or strong visible light may cause photo aging of the resin matrix, leading to changes in crosslinking degree or brittleness; Meanwhile, the photothermal effect accelerates the oxidation of silver particles. Light shielded storage (such as using opaque containers) can effectively delay material degradation, especially for silver adhesives with transparent or semi transparent substrates.

Oxygen is the main cause of silver oxidation. Unscented storage will continue to be exposed to air, leading to a gradual decline in the performance of silver paste. The use of vacuum sealing or filling with inert gases (such as nitrogen and argon) can significantly suppress oxidation. If it is not used up all at once after opening, it needs to be tightly sealed again.
Even under ideal storage conditions, long-term storage may still cause slow settling of silver particles or aging of the matrix material. It is recommended to follow the "first in, first out" principle and use within the shelf life. Regularly checking the viscosity, color, and conductivity of silver paste can detect signs of deterioration in advance.
Severe vibration or frequent shaking may cause uneven distribution of silver particles, affecting the consistency of conductivity for subsequent use. It is best to store it still, gently stir before use to restore uniformity. Containers should be placed upright to avoid leakage or component separation caused by squeezing.
The material of the storage container should be compatible with the silver adhesive composition. For example, certain plastics may release plasticizers to contaminate silver gel, while metal containers may trigger electrochemical reactions. Recommend using glass or PTFE lined containers to avoid dissolving impurities.
Nano silver conductive adhesiveThe stability highly depends on the control of storage conditions, which requires comprehensive management of temperature, humidity, lighting, sealing, and mechanical environment. Reasonable storage can not only maintain its conductivity and adhesion, but also avoid process failure or cost waste caused by deterioration.
