The Ruiyang New Energy Lithium Battery Material Integration Project is a major provincial project in 2022, jointly funded by Shenzhen Betray and Jingyang Technology, with a planned total investment of 3.68 billion yuan and a completed investment of 1.52 billion yuan within the year.

At present, it is a phase one project, mainly including a 40000 ton negative electrode material project with an investment of 990 million yuan and a 60000 ton lithium battery material precursor project with an investment of 530 million yuan. It is expected to be put into operation in October and achieve annual sales revenue of 2.61 billion yuan and contribution to profits and taxes of 470 million yuan after reaching production capacity.

The second phase project is a 40000 ton negative electrode material project with an investment of 800 million yuan. It will be completed within the year and construction will begin early next year. Strive to achieve a needle coke production capacity of 550000 tons within 3 years.

On February 16th, Betray released an external investment announcement, stating that the company plans to sign an investment cooperation agreement with the People's Government of Guangming District, Shenzhen for the "Betray High end Lithium ion Battery Negative Electrode Material Industrialization Project", and intends to invest in the construction of a 40000 ton per year silicon-based negative electrode material project in Guangming District, Shenzhen. The total investment of the project is expected to be 5 billion yuan, of which the fixed assets investment (including but not limited to land, plant, equipment, etc.) is about 3.5 billion yuan, and the working capital is about 1.5 billion yuan.

On January 24th, Betray announced that the company plans to sign a "Cooperation Agreement on the Annual Production of 200000 Tons of Lithium Battery Negative Electrode Material Integrated Base Project" with the People's Government of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture and Xiangyun County. Betray plans to invest in and construct the "Integrated Base Project for Annual Production of 200000 Tons of Lithium Battery Negative Electrode Materials" in Xiangyun County Economic and Technological Development Zone, Dali Prefecture. The project is planned to be built in three phases, with an estimated investment of 2.392 billion yuan in the first phase.

Data shows that since 2013, Betray's negative electrode material shipments have ranked first in the world for eight consecutive years. In 2020, Betray sold approximately 75000 tons of negative electrode materials and 21000 tons of positive electrode materials; In the first half of 2021, Betray sold approximately 62000 tons of negative electrode materials and 20000 tons of positive electrode materials.

Behind the rapid growth in sales is the rapid production capacity. In May 2021, the second phase of the annual production of 40000 tons of lithium battery negative electrode materials project of Betray Huizhou subsidiary was put into operation; In June of the same year, Betray increased its capital to build the Changzhou project with an annual output of 50000 tons of high nickel ternary positive electrode materials for lithium batteries, and the Sichuan project with an annual output of 50000 tons of negative electrode materials for lithium-ion batteries Phase 1 started construction.
