Magnetic field shielding with a working frequency below 100KHz is a technical issue different from EMI shielding technology. This type of low-frequency magnetic field shielding requires an extremely low magnetic resistance surface to be provided. Using CO NETIC AA (μ=45000) and NETICS3-6 (μ=4000) special shielding materials with high magnetic flux can achieve this goal.Magnetic Shielding MaterialThere are two forms: foil type and plate type.
At low magnetic flux densities, CO NETIC AA is used to take advantage of its high initial permeability and corresponding high attenuation characteristics. At high magnetic flux densities, NETICS3-6 is used to take advantage of its high magnetic saturation characteristics. In some applications, the two materials are used in combination, but NETIC materials are often placed close to magnetic interference sources. The thickness of the foil type ranges from 0.002 to 0.10 inches (0.051 to 0.254 millimeters), which can provide effective shielding through simple processing while avoiding expensive mechanical processing. Therefore, foil type is the preferred material for many products, prototypes, and laboratory evaluation plans. Typical applications include shielding field sensitive components, printed circuit boards, instruments, signal wiring, and power cables.
CO-NETIC AA fully annealed is our most commonly used product, which has been fully annealed and can be used at any time, providing maximum attenuation without further processing. Can be used as a fully annealed flat panel, applied to rooms, doors, walls, or flat rigid shields around the world, and can be directly applied to walls, floors, and ceilings.
CO-NETIC AAStress annealed sheet metalAllow for further manufacturing, stamping, severe formation, or welding. During the manufacturing process, the grain structure of the material is weakened. After the final manufacturing process is completed, the grain structure is modified through controlled annealing to reduce stress in the material, resulting in a larger grain structure, softer tempering, and final shielding performance.
CO-NETIC B stress annealed material is used in high saturation and high permeability applications, with the advantage of reducing overall costs. After processing and forming, it also requires complete annealing.
